Job Description

Function

Serves as the key contact point in IT organization and forms the bridge between HR organization and IT.  The person is expected to have a good blended HR process and technical knowledge, with strong service minded and inter-personal skills that able to build a good partnership with HR community and external service provider.

The person primary responsibility is to operate the HR applications and manage vendor support team to ensure that all MINOR group HR applications, data, business intelligence, analytics and management reporting system meet with business strategies as well as consistent with overall Information Technology architecture. This include information gather & analysis from existing HR system upon request.

The secondary responsibility is to actively participate in the planning, enhancement and deployment of cloud & on premise HR services and their related applications with various business-facing IT Teams.  The IT Manager acts as an advisor, and as an active participant in all HR related projects.

Principal Activities Performed by the Incumbent:

  1. Operational focus ensuring high availability of HR application service that meet the agreed SLA and minimize risk of service interruption.

  2. When designated, perform HR application administration role and user management & security control.

  3. Participate in the project plan development and take up the role as the Business Analyst.

  4. Works with key users to monitor and track the requirements changes and documentations.

  5. Work with project team on requirements verification to ensure the solution is designed to meet the business needs.

  6. Advises and assist support team to provide solution for ad-hoc request.

  7. Participates in the solution selection process and assists in the preparation and evaluation of the solution selection.

  8. Providing consultancy service as well as advice to business of process and technical solution in short term & long term on how best to deploy and make the best use of HR applications.

     

Qualifications

Incumbent Requirements

  1. Bachelor or Master Degree in business management, computer science or equivalent.

  2. Over 3 years working experience in business management, IT service/solution delivery area.

  3. A minimum of 2 years of applicable HR IT systems, applications and business practices.

  4. 1-2 years of SuccessFactors experiences

  5. Proven track record delivering HR IT solutions to the business community.

  6. Strong business acumen, able to understand the business operations as well as the impact of the issues, and able to assess the impact of the resolution proposed by IT or service provider.

  7. Strong analytical mind, able to analyze, translate and transform high-level unstructured business requirements into practical solutions that fulfill the business needs.

  8. Strong service mind, demonstrate initiative and commitment to providing quality service.

  9. Ability to work in a dynamic environment, work under pressure, deal with complex issues and resolve conflicts.

  10. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with people from all levels and with different background.

  11. Fluent and highly effective in both verbal and written English communication especially with English speaker group.

  12. Personal traits that demonstrate the adoption of MINOR core value of Customer Focus, Results Oriented, People Development and Be Innovative.
