Job Description

1. Product Planning & Buying (WCA/MCA)

  • Prepare buying (shopping List) according to sales projection
  • Balance the product line in term of style/color/size based on shop capacity to achieve sales target 
  • Control inventory turnover 
  • Set up retail price and do mark down for slow moving items.
  • Control margin
  • Give feed back of the market information or product information to Esprit.

2. Sales Monitoring

  • Review sell through report by shop, style, color, size and initiate action towards merchandises eg. if high sell thru will do re-order or low sell thru will do mark down.
  • Provide relevant product reports and comments to the operation team.
  • Monitor shop spacing according to sales performance among product line so as to maximize sales.

3. Product Training

  • Study the fashion trend of each season and brief to operation team
  • Monthly product training to sales team before the launch of each delivery, also give guide line to VM, so that VM will know our key buy and do display according to buy plan.
  • Orientation to new sales staff for basic product knowledge such as fabric knowledge, mix & match, brand profile

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
• Graduated in fashion or retail management is a plus
• Minimum 5 years of experience in merchandising, inventory management or retail marketing
• Background in retail/apparel/ fashion/ fashion accessories.
