Job Description

Minor Hotels is in a phase of extraordinary growth requiring a dedicated professional to set-up and drive the optimal opening of all our new Hotels. This crucial role will ensure all aspects of Digital E-Commerce and Distribution are supported whilst maximizing resources and delivered within constraints such as data privacy compliance. The ideal candidate will be a groundbreaker, responsible for establishing best practices to contribute to the Minor Hotels’ digital knowledge base for opening hotels including creation of SOPs and reports. This self-driven individual will, in the six to eight month period prior to each opening, create key strategies through conducting feasibility studies, competitive analysis and working dynamically with all stakeholders. A creative flair is also required in the creation of new websites, social media activity and booking engine configuration in collaboration with marketing and digital teams. An analytical mindset with understanding of key metrics for web performance, SEO, PPC, loyalty marketing and other online strategies and tactics is required. This will aid in measuring, analyzing and reporting on performance, recommending tactical improvements and new activities. To ensure the ongoing success of each project a complete handover and induction to the in-house team is required at the end of the pre-opening phase.

Qualifications

  • At least Bachelor’s Degree in any related filed.
  • Experience in online marketing roles in the hotel or travel industry.
  • Very good written & verbal English is essential.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage details through to completion and ensure project deadlines are met. Good understating of Search Engine Optimization and Pay-per-clicks tactics.
  • Experience in using Content Management Systems.
  • Proficient analytical web skills and ability to analyze website performance data (i.e. financial, statistical and /or performance).
  • Strong analytical skills are a must. Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities.
