Job Description

HR Business Partner Manager will interact with HR, business managers and executives to clarify business needs, identify areas for improvement and propose and implement solutions to help business managers and executives solve people related issues or achieve their business goals. This role will be both HR and advisory in order to build organization capabilities and lead organization towards business goals through collaborative environment that emphasizes on customer focus, innovation, partnership, people development and result oriented.

Main Responsibilities:

Business partner

  • Monitor retail industry / business trends to identify improvement opportunities or initiatives to improve responsible brands
  • Clarify business issues / needs to translate into people implications by
    • Gathering data from relevant sources,
    • Analyzing information
    • Proposing insights with recommendations / solutions to related executives or staff
  • Utilize or revisit existing policies, processes, practices and tools for solutions proposed to executives or stakeholders of responsible brands and also
    • Provide feedback to HR team to update situation
    • Suggest changes of HR policies, processes or practices in alignment with changes of business directions or situations
    • Co-develop with HR team for any practices, processes or tools required
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders of responsible brands to smoothly identify, develop and execute business issues-based people solutions to them by

    • Understanding different styles or characters of stakeholders
    • Providing proper communication and training for any changes of or new practices
    • Aligning solutions proposed with central HR policies or practices
  • Provide people solutions for responsible brands which range from recruitment to retention except payroll or compensation and benefits while building target organization capability as overarching goal

  • Implement and improve recruitment by covering the following areas
    • Organization design, workforce planning and job redesign
    • Screening, selection and onboarding based on available sources
  • Implement and improve staff development by covering the following areas

    • Training needs analysis
    • Performance management
    • Individual development plan
  • Implement and improve staff retention by covering the following areas

    • Employee engagement
    • Career planning
    • Talent and succession planning
  • Provide insights and updates from HR report by covering the following areas

    • Staff fulfilment
    • Training achievement
    • Staff turnover
    • Business KPI
  • Collaborate and coordinate with HR COE to clarify, utilize and improve HR policies, processes, practices and tools to be up to date for business changes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or Business Administration fields
  • Minimum 8-year experience of Human Resources
  • 3-year experience in consulting business will be advantage
