Position Overview:

The Events & Promotions Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for generating budgeted E&P packages through various marketing channels, programs and campaigns, utilizing Events and Promotions, Face to face marketing, Direct Response Marketing driven by Direct Mail and Electronic Direct Mail and SMS as well as other lead and tour generating programs to be developed as needed.

The Events & Promotions Marketing Operations Manager should generate packages from all marketing data sources, through internal and external suppliers and partners including events, malls, marketing partnerships, alliances and other lead and data sources as identified. Building relationships and growing sources of qualified direct response data is an essential part of the role.

Additional responsibilities includes marketing communications of all collateral, messaging and on and off line content that is proactively developed and executed to positively advance the brand and image of the company’s products and business in relevant markets. This includes the community and AVC customers who are defined as all internal company associates and externally; our guest tours and current owner base as well as designated prospects. The responsibility also includes ongoing communication, familiarity with the company’s database, and campaign tracking through the company’s dedicated software systems. The Events & Promotions Marketing Operations Manager is expected to contribute to the business’ marketing efforts through effective communication and interaction with all departments.

·        All aspects of direct response marketing and events and promotions

·        Partnership development and account management experiences

·        Coordinating the activities of multiple marketing programs and campaigns

·        Negotiating with suppliers and vendors, including promotional locations, collateral suppliers, and joint venture marketing partners

·        Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

·        Working productively with E&P, marketing teams, tele marketing teams and support teams

·        Possession of a natural commercial ability

·        Managing marketing databases and software programs

·        The process of planning marketing strategies and creating promotional collateral

·        Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekend and all hours of field operations as needed to support the team and production

·       Previous ‘Start-up’ experience is highly preferable

·       Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel

·       Database Management

·       Ability to acquire working knowledge of industry-specific software programs including SPI

·       Your working days are a minimum of 5 days per week, to be scheduled by you in consultation with your direct manager.  As an executive of the business, your own working hours must be flexible depending on the reasonable demands of the business
