Job Description

The Marketing Alliance Executive provides support in the management of partnership marketing initiatives in concert with brand & regional marketing teams. Partners include but are not limited to airlines, financial institutions and lifestyle partners. Initiatives will focus on campaign planning and execution as well as partner management.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing Alliances, the Marketing Alliance Executive will support driving maximum return from all our partnership campaigns to meet the commercial objectives for South East Asia and beyond including assuming responsibility for multiple concurrent projects that is, coordinating activities among multiple internal and external teams.  More specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Directing Activities     

  • Raise all necessary forms to create new campaigns and liaise with internal teams to set-up promotion code.    
  • Prepare creative brief detailing partner’s information, promotional offer, key messages and with very specific marketing tone and appeal customized to local markets.    
  • Liaise with the partners and Brand marketing to confirm creative content and provide all materials requested by partners.    
  • Work with partners to confirm partner’s promotional channels in each promotion, and ensure channels go live.  

Controlling Activities

  • Track the progress of multiple projects and update stakeholders on changes in timelines and any changes to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with inter-dependent departments and external vendors.    
  • Monitor issues and risk for each project and how these are developing based on mitigating decision taken and raise these for escalation as appropriate.    
  • Campaign management across the implementation of promotions including working with agencies, regional marketing teams to ensure timely completion of translation and/or in-market copy for promotions and with the Directors of Marketing Alliances and legal to ensure all promotions are clearly communicated to customers to avoid complaints and potential legal action to the business.  

Planning Activities     

  • Determine accurate timeline for projects taking into consideration possible interdependencies with other teams or projects and relevant Service Level Agreements (SLAs).    
  • Provide effective updates on projects status including issues, risks and resource requirements maintaining a record to decision taken at the various authority levels.    
  • Organize meetings/calls with resources involved in order to meet agreed milestones.  

Support Functions

  • Preparation of program presentations including but not limited to building PowerPoint decks and developing other presentation materials as warranted to ensure timely communication of marketing activities and performance to internal and external stakeholders as directed.    
  • Support invoice process for all partnerships activities.    

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform other job duties and supportive functions, with the time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.

Qualifications

  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from an educational institute or any other combination of education training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.    
  • Minimum of five (5) of work experience in project management, including account management at adverting/PR agency.  Regional marketing experience in hospitality or tourism-related industries, is a plus.
  • Ability to engage with senior marketers and represent Marketing Alliances appropriately when discussing the rollout and management of key initiatives.   
  • Ability to coordinate projects among multiple parties, including providing direction to internal teams and external partners, departments and vendors/agencies.    
  • Through-the-line marketing experience, including offline and online marketing, as well as social media marketing.    
  • Outstanding ability to give attention to detail and multi-task.    
  • Independent and takes initiative with project management.    
  • Proficiency with MS Office.    
  • Experience working in teams and/or projects remotely.    
  • Language requirements: Native Korean, excellent in English is a must.  Thai would be beneficial.
