Job Description

Job Purpose:

  • Develop a comprehensive Finance strategy for the group
  • Manage the group's exposure to financial risks
  • Deliver optimal financial solutions in order to enhance profitability and shareholder value
  • Lead and develop the Structured Finance team in order to support the group’s expansion

Main Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy 

· Develop and execute the Structured Finance 5 year plan

· Provide support to the Corporate CFO and senior management in setting the corporate objectives and overall strategy

Funding

· Develop optimal domestic and international funding structure

· Identify appropriate financial tools and instruments for fund raising

· Acquire competitive sources of financial instruments

 Diversify Funding Sources

· Evaluate and recommend alternative funding solutions

· Identify and maintain key International banking relationships

· Obtain international credit rating

Financial Risk Management

· Provide advice and recommendations on financial markets, foreign exchange and interest rate management

· Identify appropriate financial tools and instruments for managing the Group’s financial risk

· Manage and supervise foreign exchange and interest rate execution process/transactions

 Policy and Control

· Maintain an efficient system of policies that adequately control treasury activities

· Establish framework for standard loan, debt and ISDA agreements

· Establish monitoring system for compliance with terms and conditions of loan, debt and ISDA agreements

· Establish and implement foreign exchange rate and interest rate risk management policy and monitoring system

Trade Finance

· Obtain trade finance related facilities (Bank Guarantee, Letter of Credit, Standby Letter of Credit) for both local and foreign financial institutions

· Ensure sufficient trade finance facilities to support future business needs

· Evaluate and update facilities on a regular basis

 Bank Account related activities

· Establish, maintain and update bank account related activities (account opening/closing, KYC process)

· Ensure all banking related services are in good order (online services, EDC, atm, cash-pick up)

· Manage, control and update bank authorization matrix for the group including updating foreign corporate secretary team.

 Special Projects

· Lead or participate in special projects to be assigned by corporate CFO and the management

 People and Organization

· Create and maintain effective Structure Finance organization structure in partnership with Corporate Finance team

Qualifications

Qualifications:

·         Minimum 20+ years experience in financial management

·         Fluent in English and Thai

·         Hands-on project manager with complex multi-tasking capacity

Education:

·         MBA or Master’s Degree in business (banking, finance, accounting, marketing, economics or other related fields)

Experience:

·         Experience in both corporate and banking sectors would be preferable

·         International/regional exposure and/or fast moving environment

·         Hands-on experience in foreign exchange and interest rate technical analysis
