Job Description

Main Responsibilities

 Providing accurate and timely MINT Actual Financial Performance Analysis

 

·         Coordinate with Consolidation team  in preparation of working file to support Financial Variance Analysis

·         Analyse actual financial performance and working with Consolidation  and  GL team to find out the cause of variance against Budget, Forecast and Last Year

·         Coordinate with Business FC and Consolidation team to ensure that the actual financial result are aligned

·         Review the draft analysis with Director before submit to management

 

Development of Management Financial Report

 

Publish monthly Management Financial Report

·         Work with Business group VP Finance to understand  reporting  requirement

·         Develop simple, precise and analytical informative actual monthly performance report to address business issues to management for further action

·         Prepare monthly management financial report including key data, financial performance of each business and highlight key issue with identified risk and opportunities to Business

·         Provide data and financial information to IR team

·         Ensure timely submission of report to management

 

Business KPI

·         Supervise the team to provide monthly KPI to business group

 

Being a focal point for all queries regarding Management financial reporting

 

Developing and monitoring Financial Planning process for Monthly Forecast and Annual Budget

 

Develop overall Annual Corporate Financial Reporting Calendar to monitor reporting process

 

Monthly Forecast

•       Review Forecast template with actual data to Hotel FC to input forecast Corporate and S&M cost

•       Coordinate with Business Group FC  in providing business assumption for next month forecast to Consolidation  team

•       Ensure that all accounting adjustment transactions are timely communicated to FC to align the figure before finalize financial performance

 

Annual Budget

•       Manage overall budget process and communicate working schedule to each Business Group

•       Set up Budget template for Corporate and MGS

•       Ensure that all Accounting adjustment transactions are timely communicated to each Business Group and reflected  in Budget before finalize the result

•       Coordinate with Business FC and each Corporate BU Head to complete and submit Budget for business as per schedule

•       Publish Budget Financial Package with key business

•       Ensure timely and accurate Budget uploaded  to reporting system

 

Coordinating with Corporate Secretary and Group FC in preparation of Financial Review Package for Audit Committee and BOD review

 

Conduct regular  monthly Financial Review with Group CFO

•       Prepare Financial Statement for actual performance with forecast for review

•       Work with Business FC to provide the analysis for business performance  to support the review

 

Support Audit Committee Review, Quarterly Board Review and Annual Budget Review

•       Ensure that all number in the presentation are aligned

•       Coordinate with Business FC in preparation of  Financial Part for presentation

 

Being a member in developing and implementing new Reporting System and BI

 

Be a key leader in the development of the new system by providing inputs and identifying requirements. Support implementation plan of new system launching

 

 

Coordinate with BU, External Auditors and other stakeholders as necessary

•       Align staff with MINT Accounting strategy

•       Ensure high levels of motivation, morale and teamwork in the team

•       Ensure effective cooperation of team and MINOR organisation to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

 

Team development and talent management

•       Coach direct reports and  key talent to deliver  individual performance

•       Develop talent pipelines and plan succession within SSC

•       Provide development opportunities to staff to build capabilities

 

Qualifications

Education:

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration with MBA is a plus

Experience:

•       More than 10  years of experience in Financial Management Reporting area with at least 5 years in management role
