Job Description


  1. Product Management:

    1. Assist to monitor all Digital and related IT projects for MINOR Group.

    2. Ensure appropriate formulation and definition of project scope and objectives based on both customer needs and the needs and requirements of MINOR Group.

    3. Implement MINOR IT guidelines and procedures for project planning and management.

    4. May manage or assist to manage MINOR Group Digital projects, as appropriate or requested by the Director IT Digital.

    5. Deliver projects and requests within budget and time constraints.

    6. Assist to obtain requirements and design user stories in the process of product development

    7. Assist to analyst and design user/ customer experiences

       

  2. Help elevate the role of IT Digital on behalf of the MINOR group of companies for all Digital and related information technology solutions:

    1. Assist to establish and maintain effective working relationships between the MINOR Group business and MINOR Information Technology personnel in order to identify business needs and critical success factors.

    2. Understand the key functions of the process of Digital Products eg websites, mobile applications, email marketing, online advertising, online performance measurement, and integration of back-end systems.

    3. Manage vendors and/or suppliers in the areas of digital platforms, CRM, CXM analytics as required.

    4. Assist in release management of all digital platforms under Digital Business’s portfolio.

    5. Track digital projects such as the status of timings, key milestones, budgets, resourcing etc.

    6. Define and log issues and/or risks, create a mitigation plan and actively manage them.

    7. Regularly inform and update the Digital Team and other appropriate managers regarding plans, issues, budgets, schedules, and the like pertaining to Digital and Information Technology. 

    8. Attend appropriate meetings along with members of the team and prepare accurate notes of outcomes and follow up activity as required.

    9. Interact with business users as required.

    10. Remain abreast of new Digital and information technology developments in
      MINOR related business and revise operations to ensure that future end-customer
      and business needs are anticipated. Either personally, or through subordinate
      staff, assure the development and maintenance of the highest possible levels of
      expertise in Digital and information technology solutions that are used in
      MINOR’s industries.

    11. Assist in improving and enhancing Minor’s digital solutions including
      strategy, architecture, User Experiences, Search Engine Optimization (SEO),
      Search Engine Marketing (SEM), and analytics.

    12. Recommend retaining the services of consultants and other outsiders when
      appropriate to achieve cost efficiencies or provide services outside the
      capabilities of the MINOR IT team, specifically, or MINOR IT from a broader
      perspective.

    13. Direct the relationship with vendors providing information systems products and services to the MINOR Group.

    14. Monitor digital vendor performance on an ongoing basis; discuss and address issues of vendor performance with vendors.

    15. Identify processes and activities for users to fully utilize IT systems deployed within the MINOR Group and assist the business in improving / enhancing existing business processes to realize the full potential of IT & Digital solutions implemented within the MINOR Group business.

    16. Assist in overseeing the communication and training of users within the MINOR Group in the capability and requirements of the Digital and IT applications and systems utilized by the MINOR Group businesses.

  3. Digital Policies and Strategies:

    1. Assist to cascade, comply, and help to develop MINOR Group’s policies as they relate to the Digital marketplace and related information technology deployed within the MINOR Group businesses.

    2. Assist in develop, implement, maintain, and improve IT policies over the long, medium and short term period that support MINOR business objectives.

    3. Assist in develop, execute, and monitor Digital strategy for MINOR Group businesses.

  4. Communication:

    1. Communicate effectively using many written forms.

    2. Choose the appropriate vehicle and tone most appropriate for the message to be delivered.

    3. Express thoughts clearly in all verbal communications, one on one, or in any size group.

    4. Conduct meetings, verbally guiding and informing others.

    5. Use active, empathetic listening as a tool to understand and support each interaction, internal and external to the company. 

    6. Effectively prepare and deliver internal presentations employing appropriate content, and customer and business focus.

Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline
work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service to the MINOR Group

Perform other special projects as requested by the Digital Director and Chief Information Officer or other MINOR senior management.

Qualifications


Education:        • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Law, Marketing, ComScience, Acturial Science any related fields.

Experience & Qualifications      

• Familiarity with digital frameworks, theories eg Hook, ZMOT etc

• Management capability to deal with complex technical and business related issues.

• Proficiency in formal project management methodologies, including internal documentation, external
communications and stakeholder engagement, and use of project management tools.

• Demonstrated business acumen and excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and business
focused skills.

• Proven people management capabilities – virtual team management with cultural sensitivity and
coaching.

• Good human relation skills to effectively interact with personnel throughout the Information
Technology and customer departments with good oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to work in a changing environment under pressure and within challenging timescales.

• Ability to communicate fluently in English language both spoken and written
