Job Description

  • Generation of all payment requisition to be approved.
  • Real Time Gross Settlement Form (RTGS) or Cash Requisition Form for  approval. RTGS to be signed by authorized signatories
  • Generation of Aged Creditors analysis.
    Action plan to be prepared for all aged accounts.
  • All creditor accounts to be reconciled monthly after obtaining a supplier statement
    All expenses to be allocated to respective accounts as they occur on the prescribed Expense Tracking template.
  • All cases of over expenditure to be referred to the Finance Controller for a decision
    Generation of all payment requisition to be approved.
  • To collect and process all invoices for payment after appropriate purchase orders and authorizations have been obtained.
  • To prepare payment listing as scheduled, and ensure payment has been approved prior to process payment order.
  • Maintaining an effective filing and reference system to support management of the affairs of the finance department
  • Performing related duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Technical Education in Financial Management, Accounting and Auditing or related fields
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in similar function
  • Experience in the use of accounting software packages.
  • Able to communicate in English & Portuguese
