Job Description

To ensure a maximum profit matching the best interest of shareholders, customers, employees, and the public through planning, organising, and controlling all activities of Swensen's, franchise.

This includes directing, guiding, supervising and evaluating the performance of individuals and departments, which contribute to the overall achievement of the company in both short-term and long-term goals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide the strategic vision, planning expertise, and operational leadership required to achieve Swensen’s business objectives and goals.
  • Ensures that mission, goals, strategies and plans are clearly defined and adhered to.
  • Set performance goals (KPI) which are tailored to short-term and long-term goals.
  • Drive and direct the effective utilization and administration of the human capital, financial information, and physical resources to meet its mission, goals, strategies and plans.
  • Advise the VP and Group GM on strategic business development and key corporate planning issues and make recommendations on major business decisions.
  • Update the VP and Group GM on business activities, potential threats, opportunities, and recommended actions.
  • Help determine resource allocation among divisions.
  • Encourage executives to evaluate and take actions that are consistent with Swensen's overall strategy which will lead to high performance.
  • Monitor the company's business performance against performance goals to ensure that progress is being made and corrective action, if necessary, is taken.
  • Develop Annual Budget Sales & growth for total franchise business.
  • Support in the development and implementation of human resources strategy in accordance with company policy.
  • Provide leadership to the team by leading, managing and motivating the team to ensure delivery of the agreed objectives.
  • Grow the current franchise business and also look for the new opportunities/channels to increase revenue growth
  • Formulate the policies related to the business process improvement which aims to strengthen goals and vision in the organization in a long term.
  • Strictly adhere to brand standards and policies in franchise contract and follow up on all issues within the franchise contract.
  • Assist Franchisees in analyzing their business opportunities and areas for improvement through regular business & operation performance review
  • Broaden an established network of the contact (both inside and outside the company) to create momentum for further advancement of future business opportunities.
  • Contacts (Inside the company i. Confers frequently with Brand General Manager, Operation Director, Human Resources Director and Finance Director / Outside the company)
  • Regular contacts with franchisee, Property developer, suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor degree in business management or any related fields.
  • Minimum 10 years experiences as a management in international companies with evidenced tracked record of achievements
  • Excellent key account and distribution management or business development.
  • Excellent knowledge/ experience in food / retail business.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills.
  • Strong skills in driving results.
  • Strong people management and development.
  • Flexible to travel upon requested.
  • Proficient English and computer literate.
