• 7+ years of experience in test analyst / test lead roles; must show stability (too many short stint durations or big gaps will not be acceptable);
• Preferable experience includes some Auto industry and some large recognizable company o Experience and proven ability to understand requirements and decompose them into test cases
• Some experience working with business and/or doing UAT (vs. SIT)
• Assists other analysts in collecting and analyzing data for software development evaluation and improvements
• Involved in the day-to-day tasks of the software testing process
• Ability to collect and analyze test data
• Experience implementing testing processes/methodology in large, complex, diversified, global organizations
• Experience with all types of major system development and deployment projects, especially using COTS solutions
• Experience in the various types of testing (unit, integration, system, user acceptance, performance/volume/stress) preferred
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the testing field
• Understanding of the software development life cycle and software development methodologies Acquires and applies skills and knowledge through training and/or documentation
• Accepts changes in the customer environment, organizational structure, direction or priorities
• Acquires knowledge of the customer’s business and industry in assigned area
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Able to interpret requirement documents and able to update test documents accordingly
• Able to exercise good judgment when managing customer
• Informs other team members and customers of activities and influencing events
• Applies standard knowledge of technical tools, methods and technologies to generate solutions
• Maintains knowledge of the business and the industry (e.g., key competitors)
• Knows and understands the products/solutions that ResCap provides
• Actively seeks out new challenges and approaches them with a confident can do attitude
• Attends training and takes on new assignments to learn new skills
• Bachelor of Science degree or Equivalent
