Job Title: Sr. Product Manager
Duration:  6 Months (Contract to Hire)
Location: NYC

Description:
The Sr. Product Manager position will be responsible for working with internal business stakeholders to create and design business applications. These business applications range from Corporate IT applications to applications built to manage our client deliverables to web content management systems (CMS) used to create the network of sites. This individual will have the overall responsibility and accountability for defining how the business is able to work more efficiently and effectively when building out the sites.

Required Skills:
•    Ability to manage to multiple deadlines; multiple projects; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
•    Ability to model business processes and data modeling as required by the business.
•    Ability to understand the business requirements and processes to manage them to a successful completed project and product.
•    Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical staff and convey complex ideas both verbally and in written form.
•    Proven success at managing a variety of projects from concept to completion, both individuals and groups.
•    Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio - required
•    Adobe Photoshop – desired

Desired (not required) Skills:
•    Experience with a consumer web-based company and building applications to support the business; experience with metrics, promotional applications like reservation systems, newsletters, and reporting applications preferred.
•    Experience with web-based content management systems (CMS) and data modeling preferred. Experience with Documentum a plus.
•    Experience with web technologies and structured languages like HTML or XML a plus. Experience with XSL/XSLT a plus.
•    Experience with database system like SQL server and Oracle a plus.
•    Enjoys a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment and thrives on multi-tasking

Education/Certifications:
•    BS or BA in computer science, business or related degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
