Job Responsibilities: 

The Creative Management team is responsible for managing the go-to-market execution of US Branded Cards marketing communications across all channels. The team employs expertise and established methodologies to develop and deliver marketing communications for direct mail, digital and non-mail collateral channels. The team drives creative implementation, continuous process improvement disciplines and manages the approval process required to ensure that all marketing communications meet all regulatory and legal requirements, and provides subject matter expertise and thought leadership on complying with the evolving regulatory environment. Creative Management manages the control creative advertising agency relationship to direct creative agencies to update and modify customer communications to support marketing strategies, simplify creative execution processes to deliver greater capabilities, reducing cycle time and increasing capacity.

This position will serve as the Creative Manager Contractor for all US Branded Card Products marketed through direct mail, email, digital and non-mail channels. As such, this position is responsible for the review and execution of marketing creatives which will require managing business relationships; influencing key partners; initiating and implementing creative process efficiencies and improvements and overseeing policy adherence practices with respect to creative management. The position is responsible for ensuring our creatives are executed with efficiency, control, and quality and is the primary responsible party for approving regulatory content and terms and conditions.

In carrying out these duties, performs several critical tasks, which include but are not always limited to the following:

(1) Partner with Marketing, Production, Legal, Global Change Management and advertising agencies to understand and execute the creative strategy

Provide an executional voice to the strategy to ensure marketing materials being developed or modified follow a consistent and repeatable design to promote a rollout opportunity.


(2) Manage creative execution process

Partner with channel owners to provide execution setup and specifications.


(3) Participate in Creative Management Infrastructure design and innovation

Support opportunities through technology or process re-designs to create better management of creative support and execution for our business.


Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 2-5 years of related experience in the field of creative management, either from the development or execution of creative. Credit Card Marketing Experience a big plus.

Extreme attention to detail.

Demonstrated excellence in project management.

Experience working with advertising agencies on creative development and an understanding of the agency process.

Demonstrated understanding of data usage and how data can drive creative execution.

Comfort with use of web-based workflow tools and genuine interest in leveraging technology to improve processes.

Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects at different stages simultaneously.

Excellent communication skills, particularly in tailoring one's message and style to best reach one's audience --- in both formal and informal settings and regardless of the audience (e.g. technical, creative, legal, internal and external auditors)

Demonstrated excellence in collaboration and influencing others.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize and drive results with a strong sense of urgency

Flexibility in approach to different types of business problems and a willingness to change course when necessary to avoid project setbacks

Ability to manage through ambiguity; able to create and establish structure and process across cross-functional teams when ambiguous situations and new business needs arise

Ability to work with limited direction on most assignments, receiving instruction from manager on unusually complex or sensitive situations.

Demonstrated ability to embrace and champion change.
