Position: SAS Developer

Job Description and Responsibilities :
                                                                                      
•    This position supports the development of advanced analytic capabilities that inform business decisions for worldwide Sales and Finance.
•    Significant experience with SAS base and macro programming for the Advanced Analytics, Sales Planning & Operations team.
•    This position will be responsible for developing core analytic capabilities that support the team through the modeling process.
•    Specifically, the position will:
(1) develop scripts in SAS to support the global modeling team with critical data (e.g. ETL, analytic functions).
(2) support the team with tactical model setup, pre-model diagnostics, and standard model specs for hand-off to final iterations and delivery.
(3) run and optimize baseline algorithms for market event detection.
(4) support the team with post-model assessments (e.g. model fits), developing tools to assist senior modelers with residual analysis
(5) develop data visualization solutions to enable data and model discovery.
(6) perform SQL development in Teradata via SAS pass-through.

•    The candidate should also have deep experience with SQL, preferably in Teradata.
•    Tableau experience is also preferred.
