Title: User Experience Designer (EBAYJP00014127)

Location: San Francisco/ San Jose, CA

Duration: 6-9 Months contract

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Real passion for user-centered design and collaborative work.

• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to different audiences.

• Experience working closely (and sometimes bridging the gap) between designers and developers.

• Expertise in standard design and prototyping tools including Sketch and InVision.

• Eagerness to learn, expand your skills, and try new tools.

• Ardent love of efficiency and the ability to visualize and execute processes.

• Experience with design system frameworks like Bootstrap, Foundation and Atomic.

• Working knowledge of design specification tools like Zeplin and Inspector.

• An understanding of the Design Process.

• Familiarity with lean UX methodology.

• HTML, CSS & JavaScript knowledge is a plus.

What you will do:

• You will continually document and catalogue our evolving design system.

• You will evangelize platform standards (Web, iOS, Android) across the organization.

• You will develop specifications for UI designs and work with developers to implement them.

• You
  will build supporting artifacts to facilitate communication including
  presentations, UI kits, style tiles, style guides, and supporting
  graphic assets for developers.

• You will participate in product and design discussions with the team.
