Job Title: Estimator

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Duration: 12 Months

Responsibilities:

• Prepare standard WBS estimates and assumptions with confidence factors ranging from study to construction phases of the project.

• Provide 24/7 on call estimating services for emergent projects

• Develop unit cost and parametric estimate range for standard scope of work.

• Review the basis of an estimate during Project Estimate Challenge meetings.

• Incorporate project actuals into estimating methodology in order to ensure continuous improvement.

• Report project actuals against estimate at project completion

• Work with the project managers to ensure that the estimates are properly challenged and reviewed.

Required:

• 7 Year experience primarily with electrical projects required, lieu of degree

• Types of Projects (team avg 70 projects 500k to 5M)

• Transmissions

• Distributions

• Substations

• Heavy usage of Excel

• Construction project estimator project experience needed

• Past experience with electrical and drawing specs a huge plus

• Driving to some job sites and doing walk-downs will be required

• Looking for Estimators, not Project Managers

• F2F interview will be required before hire
