Job Description

Work schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Work Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday and every other Thursday. 12 hours shifts from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm

Summary:

Under close supervision, leads and performs a variety of processing duties accordingto batch record and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) in small scale manufacturing

including, but not limited to, weighing, mixing, fabricating, coating and pouching/ packaging. Essential Job Functions: This is not intended as a comprehensive list; it is intended to provide a

tasks.

Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws.

Ensures batch records, equipment log books, and other relevant records are current.

Reports process or equipment problems to supervisor.

Sets-up equipment for processing operations.

Cleans and maintains processing rooms and equipment.

Monitors process and equipment and makes necessary adjustments to maintain batch record specifications.

Follows established department SOP’s and batch record instructions.

Ensures project deadlines and performance standards are established and met.

Ensures compliance with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.

Performs related duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of:

Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA),

and other regulatory requirements.

SOP’s, equipment and safety practices.

Manufacturing processes and equipment procedures.

Business English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation.

Basic mathematical computations.

Skill in:

Following verbal and written directions.

Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

Operating scientific and personal computers.

Establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with others.

Ensuring compliance with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Incumbents in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor, and moderate noise levels.

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, and one (1) year experience in a pharmaceutical, medical device, or food manufacturing environment.
