Title: Application Architect
Duration: 12 Months

Location: Baltimore, MD

Job Description:

Responsible for the architectural system design. Designs, develops, and constructs application systems and consults with clients to refine application needs. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 7-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Position Requirements:

- Work closely with the Principal Architect to ensure designs align with the strategic direction for the Customer platforms

• Knowledge of network architecture design principles

• Working knowledge of SharePoint Architecture

• Working knowledge of web site authentication

• Working knowledge of web Site performance

• Working knowledge of web site security

• Creates the Conceptual Design deliverable

• Produces alternate Design Concepts & detailed approach

• Understanding of Microsoft Azure fabric

• Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS)

• Knowledge of middleware technology
