Generally, Mind You is a mental health service that focuses on the provision of professional mental health preventive programs offered via video conference, phone call or chat.

Mind You was established with the goal of creating happier, healthier and more productive workforces. The eMental Health platform was conceptualised in January 2020 because of the growing need for easier access to preventative mental health care. The development was then fast-tracked and launched due to the demand created by the global pandemic. Hereby, virtual mental healthcare will fulfill the unmet need for clients traditionally underserved by other mental health practitioners. There are some scientific sources stating that online mental healthcare has been shown to be effective for clients who may have difficulty reaching person-to-person appointments with Psychologists during normal business hours, while decreasing the number of missed appointments for in-person therapy.

Job Description

Primary Purpose of the Position

The Business Development Manager is responsible for ensuring business continuity by conducting research for possible business opportunities and viable income streams for the Company. S/he is also responsible for developing business growth strategies and plans that focus on the financial gain of the Company.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Develops and maintains growth strategies focused both on financial and customer satisfaction of the company to ensure business sustainability;

  2. Conducts research to identify new markets and customer needs which will be the basis for the growth strategies;

  3. Prepares and presents powerful, persuasive presentations that effectively demonstrate the value proposition of the Company;

  4. Promotes the company’s services addressing or predicting the client’s objectives;

  5. Analyses sales, revenue, invoices, and other important data to ensure business development’s goals and objectives are consistently achieved; 

  6. Collaborates with Sales and other department in identifying sales and services that would appeal to new clients; and

  7. Cultivates positive interactions and relationships with the management team to evaluate sales strategy and results.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of any bachelor’s degree course, preferably Business Administration or relevant field
  • With an entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills, and with experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing the vision

  • With strong analytical abilities, problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Goal-oriented and organised team player

  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills
