Job Description

As an IT Support you will assist the IT team in various activities and help the teams with providing technical support and ensuring the whole company runs smoothly. IT Support monitors and maintains the company computer systems, installs and configures hardware and software, and solves technical problems.

In particular you will:

  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
  • Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests
  • Provide technical support across the company
  • Set-up accounts for new users
  • Repair and replace equipment as necessary
  • Test new technology
  • Manage Inventory
  • Manage the maintenance of the set-up of the conference rooms
  • Install and administrate workstations – Windows, MAC, Linux
  • Assist in new tools implementation – Collaboration tools such as Atlassian Confluence/Jira, File sharing solutions (owncloud), SSO integration (LDAP/Kerberos) over multiple sites and tools, test environment deployment and development.

Qualifications

Skills that we look out for are among

  • Degree in Computer Science is a plus
  • 3-5 years experience in IT support
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively both orally and in writing to a variety of audience
  • At ease with Atlassian’s suite
  • Understanding of Linux, MAC and Windows operating system and standard applications (MS Office, Mail, Gsuite…)
  • Windows, Linux scripting is a plus
  • Fluency in English, French is a plus
  • Effective planning, organizational skills and problem solving capability
  • Curious and ability to learn fast
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Able to work on own initiative and as a team player
  • Ability to work well under deadlines and pressure
  • High degree of initiative and self-motivation
  • Customer satisfaction oriented
