Job Description

As a Mechatronics Engineer, you will ensure that the various products of the company are well designed, respond to the needs of the product managers, and are then quickly and continuously available.

Your mission:

  • Work within the hardware team to design and develop mechanical concept for products
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists and write detailed mechanical specifications from the inputs of the team members
  • Lead the manufacturing of the mechanical components, external manufacturer selection and follow-up
  • Verify the functionality and quality of prototypes and products
  • Apply the QMS for the design and production
  • Write technical documentation

Your responsibilities:

  • Design and development of mechanical components
  • Integration of mechanical, electric, electronic and optic components
  • Work with CAD software to design and simulate static, dynamic, thermal constraints
  • Manufacturing of part using rapid prototyping technologies
  • Industrialization. Realisation of the manufacturing folder including: drawing, assembly instruction, records, FAIR
  • Manufacturer selection and follow-up. Ensure on-time delivery of the mechanicals parts
  • Assembly and test mechanical integration of prototypes
  • Responsible of the mechanical workshop

Qualifications

Skills that we look out for are among

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechatronics design engineering
  • At least Bachelor in Mechanics/Mechatronics
  • Master one or more CAD applications among Catia, Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor, or Pro-Engineer.
  • Experience in industrialization
  • Experience in medical device a plus
  • Team player
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English
  • Effective planning, organizational and strong interpersonal skills
