As an intern you will have the opportunity to contribute to one of MindMaze’s key neuroscience R&D projects over a period ranging from 6 to 12 months.

You primarily responsibility will be to create software libraries to mine data generated from our devices for evidence of therapeutic value. You will work at the intersection of our Neuroscience, Clinical and Engineering teams.

Your main tasks will involve:

• programming python libraries to extract data from our devices based on pre-existing technical specification documents
• programming python libraries to mine evidence of therapeutic value from kinematic and game-state data
• developing protocols for data validation
• writing code documentation

Skills that we look out for are among

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent;
• Experience with object-oriented programming languages; Python (required), C# (good to have)
• Experience with working with relational and non-relational databases
• Experience with software versioning and control (eg. Git, SVN)
• Min B2 level in English.

 Icing on the cake

• Experience with analysis of kinematic data
• An up-to-date github/bitbucket repository demonstrating quality of previously developed code
