Job Description

As the Project Manager, you will be THE driving force behind the development of a disruptive wearable luxury product.

You will:

  • Pilot the wearable product execution from the existing vision, to the final product whilst ensuring robustness and ergonomic fit; 
  • Be responsible for the program management of all technical aspects of product development: driving upfront project planning and seeking appropriate approvals, collaborating on product requirement definition and documentation, driving engineering execution, establishing quality assurance plans and ongoing adherence to detailed budgeting and resource prioritization, to maximize profitability for the design center;
  • Act as the systems engineer for critical mechanical, electrical, and firmware or software decisions, to ensure the integration of hardware, design and software developments whilst respecting strong brand identity guidelines;
  • Ensure accurate and coherent collection and real-time processing of data from the wearable device;
  • Oversee the Development of encapsulation methods for technology integration into the wearable product without compromising brand identity;
  • Ensure compliance and scalability of manufacturing processes;
  • Define and document certifications and test results to ensure customers and regulatory constraints are systematically met;
  • Select and supervise third party contracted teams to ensure quality of outsourced work.
  • Report directly to senior level executives, providing regular updates on project advancement and anticipating potential threats and blockages, highlighting project details and adherence to budget, requirements, timing, and performance.

Essential skills:

  • BSc or MSc in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science or equivalent;
  • Extensive experience of product management, preferably in sensing and/or wearable technologies; particularly defining and launching a product;
  • PMP certification;
  • Experience with Lean and Agile methodologies;
  • Experience with multi-disciplinary projects including hardware, software and design;
  • At ease with front-end software development problematics;
  • At ease with real-time data management problematics;
  • Knowledge of Augmented Reality and Wearable technologies;
  • Min C2 level of English.

Icing on the cake:

  • Experience in a start-up environment;
  • Analytic ability to conduct market and business research and present data driven content that drives actions and decisions;
  • Prior experience in a luxury brand or similar company;
  • Strong experience or personal interest or passion for luxury goods and brands;
  • French-speaking.
