Job Description

As an intern in biomedical engineering you will have the opportunity to contribute to one of MindMaze’s key engineering projects over a period ranging from 3 to 12 months.

This Internship is focused on the development of a movement analysis toolbox for our rehabilitation medical devices.

You will join our Movement Analysis Feature team and will focus on:

  • Reviewing relevant literature on the analysis of movement for patient with neurological disorders;
  • Developing algorithms for the analysis of body segment trajectories, orientation and posture;
  • Participating in protocol definition and implementation to collect pilot and validation datarelative to the movement analysis;
  • Implementing the data processing and analysis in close partnership with the project team;
  • Writing documentation and reports.

Skills that we look out for are among:

  • BSc or MSc in biomedical engineering or equivalent;
  • Experience and interest in programming (C/C++ and Python);
  • Knowledge in motion analysis and data analysis.

Skills that make a difference:

  • Demonstrable interest for development focusing on the patient’s care and clinical interest;
  • Able to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge within a specialised area;
  • Working knowledge of motion analysis and biomechanics;
  • Min B2 level of French and English.
