The Role

• To manage the full delivery lifecycle, taking a project from conception through implementation within the MicroStrategy platform to delivery and sign-off
• Work with customers to gather requirements, writing functional and technical specifications and communicating technical requirements to clients and internal technical team(s) or partners
• Manage, scope, and demonstrate strong consistent operational excellence in the execution of projects with some of our most strategic customers
• Confidently present and articulate the business value of the MicroStrategy platform at all levels
• Develop strong relationships with customers
• Work with internal MicroStrategy teams as required to develop solutions, tactical responses, raise project risks and strategic visioning for customers

Project Delivery:

• Delivers billable consulting services
• Efforts may be directed toward various MicroStrategy and / or supporting products and services
• Leverages MicroStrategy best practices for service delivery
• Applies project management methodology effectively in a wide variety of situations, and adapts methodology to new situations
• Experience with agile methodologies for project management (SCRUM)

Customer Management:

• Develops customer relationship and independently working with customers

Technical Excellence:

• Participates in implementation activities. Leverages technical competence and implementation experience to develop functional and technical application design skills

Required Experience and Skills

• Understanding of core Business Intelligence (BI)/data warehousing technology: RDBMS, Web, Client/ Server, and OLAP
• Working knowledge of specialized BI tools and solution providers (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, Looker, Power BI, Cognos etc.)
• Experience with scripting technologies such a SQL would be advantageous
• Understanding of data transformation and ETL processes
• Experience of business consulting with Cloud SaaS and on-premise business applications or software platform deployments
• Ability to conduct requirements gathering, meet with business owners, perform current state analysis, and manage customer expectations and project deliverables
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgement
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and business requirements
• Positive contributor to team and company values - Be Engaged, Precise, Agile, Transparent, and Cheerful
• Degree educated (business, technical or related field) or equivalent academic/work experience
• Ability to travel as needed (up to 50%) within Switzerland
• Fluent English and German (B2 level)
• Candidates must be located and reside in Switzerland for 3 years.
