Job Description

Establish daily priorities and activities in regards to all corporate network and security including designing and managing the global network infrastructure and ongoing operations. Responsibilities include working with the information systems management team to develop strategic goals and plans for the data network infrastructure in a hands-on, high tech, operational capacity.

Your Focus:
· Manage full life-cycle process (define, design, develop, deploy) for various projects relating to the upgrade and ongoing maintenance of the data network infrastructure worldwide
· Serve as a liaison with IS teams and internal company departments to define requirements and carry out all Cloud network and security related projects
· Provide daily support for all routers, switches, firewalls and other network systems
· Serve as the key point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving complex network, systems, and security issues
· Prepare management reports relating to network health, maintenance, uptime, etc and provide to direct supervisor regularly
· Maintain systems and provide support to service level agreements for systems uptime
· Develop options, recommendations and associated cost benefits for vendor services
· Research and implement cost effective solutions for all network and security
· Document engineering standards and proposals for network designs/engineering changes and provide recommendations
· Develop and manage project teams in area of responsibility
· Work with network engineers, technical staff, and vendors to develop and implement network projects
· Research, evaluate, and recommend new tools and technologies
· Assess emerging network technologies and make recommendations to information technology management
· Assist with troubleshooting and deployment to internal and external customers

Qualifications

· Network knowledge related configuration on AWS and Azure, such as VPC, Site to Site VPN, Direct Connect, VPC peering, Private Link, Transit gateway, Express Route, vNet Peering
· Professional Certification (or equivalent training/experience) required: CCNP
· Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field (strong and highly relevant experience may be considered en lieu of education)
· 3+ years experience working in a corporate IT/IS environment
· 2+ years experience building and supporting complex corporate data networks
· Must have experience with knowledge of Cisco router and Arista switch installation, configuration and operation
· Must have experience with knowledge of Palo Alto firewall installation, configuration and operation, including PA-850, PA-5220 and Panorama.
· Must have experience with knowledge of Global Protect VPN installation, configuration and operation
· Thorough understanding of standard and proprietary routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, HSRP, VLAN), access lists and filters
· Must be proficient in the use of protocol analyzers and network test equipment
· Must have in-depth knowledge debugging problems related to communications protocols
· Must have a working knowledge of SNMP, TACACS+, Spanning-Tree, OSPF and IPSec
· Must have superior troubleshooting skills related to the following network architectures: Multimode Fiber, Gigabit and 10G Ethernet, as well as WAN circuits
· Practical knowledge of all cabling technologies associated with the above
· Good knowledge of network design, configuration and implementation of 802.11 wireless technology, must be familiar with Cisco Meraki Wireless Solution
· Should have working practical knowledge of Network Monitoring and administrative tools (Panopta or Solarwinds)
· Strong customer support skills
· Ability to properly prioritize multiple simultaneous tasks
