Job Description

The Role:We’re looking for Banking/Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our growing team and work across all areas of our product portfolio.The Accountant will be responsible for providing our services in the most timely, compliant, and efficient manner, while meeting personal and team targets and ensuring that the highest levels of quality and efficiency are maintained.Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure proper processing of daily Banking transactions in accordance with assigned task schedule, meeting assigned KPIs.
  • Cooperate with other departments – AP, T&E, Collections to resolve any queries in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for timely Banking reporting in accordance with closing schedule on a monthly basis.
  • Responsible for assisting and ensuring the timely completion of all Banking reconciliations at the end of each month.
  • Maintain highest level of user proficiency of JDE accounting system.
  • Assist other team members with system or policy issues.
  • Assist with requests from internal and external auditors.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with Sarbanes Oxley key controls in areas of responsibility.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly payments forecasts and cash reporting
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Must meet monthly, quarterly and annual closing deadlines.
  • Assist with other special projects as needed.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English
  • 1-2 years of experience working in accounting positions (Accounts Receivable experience desired)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in handling high volume account portfolios and balancing multiple priorities
  • Customer-focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Persistency and ‘can do’ attitude required
  • Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of the team
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Appropriate handling of confidential information
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
  • Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
  • Proven track of working in multinational environment dealing with internal and external customers
