Job Description

 

The Sales Director is responsible for revenue generation through the development and management of a direct sales organization.

 

Your Focus (include but not limited to): 

  • Develop and grow MicroStrategy’s presence in the U.S. defense and intelligence sectors
  • Manage the P&L for the defense and intelligence business unit
  • Lead business development efforts to identify and pursue growth opportunities to build and maintain pipeline
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop campaigns and strategies to grow existing accounts and develop prospect accounts
  • Manage 3-5 sales professionals and lead teams of MSTR account executives, sales engineers, and consultants to develop accounts and advanced opportunities
  • Work across MSTR, such as with technology, IT security, and customer support, to ensure defense and intelligence customer requirements are considered and advanced
  • Oversee MSTR’s FCL program
  • Leverage and enhance partner relationships to drive additional value and revenue

Qualifications

Who you are:

  • Spirited entrepreneur. Self-sufficient, creative, and unflappable
  • Appreciation and understanding of pipeline development and management.
  • Growth focused, proven technology sales account executive with a minimum of seven years of experience.
  • Exceptional leader with a focus on collaboration and team building with at least three years of management experience
  • Understanding of P&L management
  • Proven ability to develop territory and account plans and attendant marketing and sales campaigns
  • Fluent in FCL management and processes
  • Experience with SaaS/PaaS and FedRAMP go-to-market strategies and execution
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience
  • Experience and training in a value-based enterprise sales methodology
