SaaS QA Automation Engineers play an integrated role with Software Engineers to build and maintain QA Automation framework for SaaS applications like Salesforce and ServiceNow. You will work in an environment with code reviews, as well as unit-tests and end-to-end automated tests. You’ll partner with software engineers in an Agile Software Development environment to deliver solutions to our stakeholders. 

The candidate should have exceptional technical, analytical and problem-solving skills and be comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization. We are seeking a self-starter, with a bias towards action, who can recognize and make process improvement recommendations.   

Ideal candidates will be located in Nagpur or within commutable distance, however remote candidates will be considered. 

Your Focus 

• Execute software quality and test cases for new features across the SaaS suite of products. 
• Build and maintain QA Automation framework for SaaS platforms as Salesforce and ServiceNow. 
• Build test plan/suites and execute manual test cases for SaaS platforms as Salesforce and ServiceNow. 
• Build and maintain automation suites for testing with tools like Protractor, Cucumber, Jasmine, Spectron, and other cutting edge automation tools 
• Build consensus, prioritize, and execute quality engineering activities based on facts, information, and weight of evidence in a collegial work environment. 
• Test and respond to software requirements build into the test planning and report and analyze the results. 
• Utilize automated test tools and debuggers to monitor program code, inspect program variables, ensure user interface quality, set performance benchmarks, and analyze results. 
• Recommend solutions where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. 
• Keep records of issue logs and resolutions internal to the quality engineers and from external technical support. 
• Document technical notes, methods, and best practices for use in assuring quality across SaaS platforms.

Java, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, PowerShell, Shell, Selenium, Webdriver, Protractor, Cucumber, Gherkin, Jasmine, Espresso, RobotFramework, XCUI automation, UIAutomator, SoapUI, Autoit Tool/scripting, Jenkins, Tomcat, IIS, JMeter, GNU Project debugger (GDB), WebStorm, Eclipse IDE, REST, JDBC/ODBC, Zookeeper, Cloud-based services on AWS and Azure, Docker, Kubernetes 

• Able to work core hours between 12:30 pm and 8:30 pm IST
• 3+ years of experience verifying and validating software code to improve the overall quality of the product 
• 3+ years of experience building automated test scripts and/or programs using tools (I.e., Selenium, Jenkins, Soap UI) 
• Basic programming skills in JavaScript, Python, shell script or similar
• Knowledge of software test methods and techniques; experience with the visual testing method is preferred 
• Ability to pay close attention to detail, curiosity - enjoy tinkering with data and breaking software 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field 
  
  Big plus:
• Experience testing SaaS platforms as Salesforce and/or ServiceNow

• This is a hybrid position: it may be necessary to come to the office in Nagpur from time to time upon request (training, team building events)
