As an Information Security Team Intern at MicroStrategy, you’ll be part of an agile Information Security team, providing our customers with the most powerful, scalable, and user-friendly platforms for analytics, mobility, and security. You’ll play a key role in securing MicroStrategy systems and products with cutting edge security tools.

Our 12-week paid summer internship offers mentorship, networking events, and professional development within our ITS team.

You’ll have the opportunity to join one of the exciting teams below:

Security Operations team

The Security Operations team is responsible for securing MicroStrategy’s on-prem and cloud systems using the latest security technologies. This team manages our security posture via automating our most commonly executed tasks.

Security Engineering team

The Security Engineering team is responsible for testing our systems and products for security issues and providing guidance for vulnerability mitigation, architecture and design.

Policy & Compliance team

The Policy & Compliance team ensures our program is in0line with industry best practices and various standards which provide additional assurance to our clients about our security posture.

Technologies you could use:

Shell scripting (ksh, bash), Python, PHP, Perl, HTML5, CSS, Windows Server, Linux, Mac.

Required Experience and Skills:

 You should also bring the following:

• Currently pursing Bachelors in Computer Science or related field (targeting December 2022 or May 2023 graduates)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Creative analytical and problem-solving skills
• Process oriented and ability to pay close attention to detail
• Team oriented individual
