Job Description

The Role

We’re looking to expand our Operations Team across our Finance, Marketing, and Office of the President departments. As an Analyst, you will have the unique opportunity to work on various tasks while liaising/collaborating with multiple departments at MicroStrategy, and networking with senior leaders in the organization. We’re looking for smart, motivated individuals who have a passion for tackling complex problems from all angles. The person is a dynamic and versatile individual who is both a skilled communicator and a high-tech enthusiast.  

Your Focus:  

  • Learn the company’s business model and in-house data sources and systems and provide data-driven analysis to support business decisions across multiple functions. 
  • Work with peers and leaders across all departments to achieve corporate operational and strategy objectives. 
  • Develop and utilize MicroStrategy dossiers to make daily business decisions and provide future forecasting in key areas.  
  • Support creative development (through graphics, messaging, and videos) and ensure ​processes and programs are delivered efficiently and transparently. 
  • Ensure the accuracy of data and information located in our core business systems and identify process improvement opportunities.  
  • ​​Review financial and operational metrics to identify trends, highlight issues, and derive action plans that result in profitable growth.  
  • Participate actively in stakeholder meetings to understand major projects and initiatives. Provide objective-based feedback focused on financial and operational outcomes.  
  • Develop effective communication plans and mechanisms to deliver information on performance relative to forecast and KPI.

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Exceptional attention to detail  
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills 
  • Excellent communications skills 
  • Action/Sense of Urgency 
  • A Consistently Positive Presence 
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment preferred 
  • Experience with sales support systems a plus 
  • Experience with MSTR Analytics or with other BI/Data Mining tools is a plus
