Job Description

The MicroStrategy Education Team serves as trusted advisers in helping customers make the most of our Enterprise software through the design and selling of training packages and learning paths that enable customers to develop critical skills and achieve certifications to fully leverage the potential of the platform. The Systems Engineer - Education will be responsible for building out system enhancements, managing user acceptance testing, maintaining data integrity between our analytical platforms, working with IT departments to resolve issues, and providing unparalleled customer service to MicroStrategy customers, partners, vendors and internal stakeholders.

 

The Role:

The Systems Engineer - Education requires a self-starter with strong technical, analytical, and communication skills to support the daily operations of MicroStrategy Education Department. This role will perform US (EST) Hours of operation starting at 8am.

 

 Your Focus:

  • System administration associated with our Learning Management System
  • Being able to understand tasks from business leadership and translate that into executable action
  • Maintaining system integrations, troubleshooting, and terminating MicroStrategy cloud environments
  • Maintain SharePoint sites related to Educational operational reporting
  • Using MicroStrategy to do analytical reporting to help drive business decisions

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree with up to 2 years of administrative experience in a corporate setting
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical and technical skills (Java, Python, HTML, CSS, CRM, LMS, MicroStrategy Cloud, Various coding languages)
  • Strong initiative to excel in a very fast-paced business environment

Ability to meet deadlines and complete work under limited supervision
