Job Description

The Role: The primary role of the Cloud Product Specialist is to take ownership of cross-team issues and Cloud service issues including pro-actively communicating across teams to coordinate activities.

Your Focus:

Create automation and experiment with the latest technologies for next-generation product backends in AWS
Design for quality, robustness, and performance, with common principles, patterns, and best practices.
Identify and drive opportunities for improving the FedRAMP service and infrastructure maintenance/management
Direct support for customer upgrades, strategic customer escalations, and feature validation
Customer escalations resolution and preventative maintenance for lessons learned
Design and run automated tests. Continuously improve software development, building, testing, and deployment processes.

You should also bring the following:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Strong troubleshooting, technical and analytical skills
Excellent communication and technical mentoring skills
Knowledge of AWS and Cloud Computing concepts (preferred experience with EC2, RDS, S3, Dynamo DB, Route53, EKS, ECS, KMS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, CloudFormation etc)
One or more DevOps, Orchestration/Configuration Management and Continuous Integration technology (e.g. Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Ansible)
Knowledge of Containerization solutions (Kubernetes and Docker). Understand how to manage and troubleshoot Cloud and Kubernetes.
Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat) and/or Microsoft Windows Server and associated technologies (Active Directory etc.)
Understanding of IP Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL/TLS, etc.)
Troubleshooting skills at multiple levels of complexity.
Certifications - (AWS Cloud Solutions Architect Associate or Professional)
Hands-on experience with deployments in AWS or Azure cloud computing services is highly preferred
Experience assessing cloud architectural components using AWS Well-Architected cloud frameworks
Solid understanding of web and internet architectures.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with infrastructure, virtualization, security and networking
Experience in FedRAMP
Splunk, Tenable SC and Nessus, Acunetix, Okta, GitLab
Specific skills - (AWS Cloud Solutions, Linux, SIEM, Vulnerability scanning and assessment)
Knowledge of REST and microservices practices
Customer-facing experience. Must be a forward thinking multi tasker able to manage time, projects, and personnel.
