Job Description

The Role: 

  • Manage and forecast AWS and Azure infrastructure costs globally for customer deployments on MicroStrategy Cloud, collaborating with Finance and Information Systems teams to reduce risk and optimize costs
  • Develop advanced knowledge of in-house data sources and systems, and become adept at quickly extracting and analyzing data from these sources
  • Create and maintain processes to deliver performance data on MicroStrategy Cloud costs and revenues to key stakeholders in a digestible and repeatable fashion
  • Work with key stakeholders in Sales and Consulting to create holistic plans for migrating customers to MicroStrategy Cloud, reviewing deal constructs, and improving sales processes
  • Participate in dashboard development using MSTR tools to support our Management to monitor and take action
  • Work with the Events team to coordinate and manage event experience, logistics and event execution. For each campaign, define objectives, content, target audience segmentation, invitation creation, registration promotion, list of the collection, lead management & follow-up, and marketing sourced pipeline generation tracking.

Transaction and Deal Support

  • Review and analyze MicroStrategy Cloud solutions by working with field Sales and Sales Operations. Solution review includes guidance on deal structure, pre-requisites, business terms and identification of potential risks and/or opportunities that can affect performance, growth and strategic positioning of MicroStrategy Cloud for the North American market.
  • Become an expert on MSTR’s Salesforce.com instance to effectively support sales’ use of this essential platform
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of MicroStrategy’s go-to-market strategy for Cloud, and ensure all deals are structured accordingly
  • Create and manage workflows between field Sales, Sales Operations, and Cloud Operations to ensure smooth handoff in rapid deployment, positive customer onboarding experience, and effective cost optimization for all Cloud transactions

Required Experience and Skills:

You should also bring the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited program
  • 3-5 years working experience in a Sales Operations or Business Operations role
  • Experience managing AWS or Azure billing data preferred
  • Strong MS Excel, Word, and Salesforce skills
  • Knowledge and use of MicroStrategy analytics preferred
  • Experience working in an enterprise software company and SaaS-based software preferred
  • Experience in fast-paced, high volume environment
  • Experience with sales support systems
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal/virtual
  • Action/sense of urgency
  • A consistently positive presence
