The Role:

MicroStrategy Consultants empower customers to make more informed decisions by providing timely, relevant, and accurate answers to their business questions. To achieve this mission, Consultants work to understand business needs and technical requirements, and design and implement high value solutions in the MicroStrategy platform. MicroStrategy Consultants are an integral part of the world's largest staff of MicroStrategy Certified Engineers and leverage knowledge and best practices across our global team for customer success.

This position would be highly suited to a senior BI consultant or developer, who is looking for the next step in her/his career and wants to take on more challenges and responsibility. This is a customer facing role, owning overall technical relationship between MicroStrategy and main stakeholders in our customers.

Your Focus:

• Provide billable consulting services to achieve account objectives and production success. Services may include: product installation, project design and implementation, enhancement, integration, or audit to meet customer business requirements both on-premise and on-cloud.
• Performs information systems needs assessment, information gathering, and recommend appropriate business systems and IT infrastructure for MicroStrategy customers.
• Performs data modeling, application development, technical product assistance and tuning to meet customer performance and functional requirements.
• Connects project outcomes with customers' overall vision and MicroStrategy account strategy.
• Ensures a solid understanding of business objectives associated with projects and/or programs to which he or she is assigned.
• Creates and delivers technical and business-oriented presentations in front of our customers.
• Support the adoption of MicroStrategy Platform on the field by collaborating with customers, partners and sales & marketing events.
• Develops an understanding of the project life cycle and begins to develop associated customer skills.
• Seeks opportunities through project work to develop rapport and working relationship with external customers.
• Communicates effectively with team members both internally and with customers.
• Observes and understands the dynamics of influence, internally and externally with customers.
• Actively participates in internal knowledge-sharing forums.
• Specify business systems (inputs, outputs, data, human and automated interfaces) to meet information processing objectives for MicroStrategy’s software platform.

• Good project management skills and agile methodologies knowledge.
• Solid experience of main cloud architectures and platforms (Azure, Google or AWS).
• Experience with BI methodologies and tools like MicroStrategy, PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, SiSense, Looker, Pentaho or similar.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to self-direct work in an unstructured environment.
• Bachelors or equivalent degree in a business, technical or related field is required.
• Fluent in English.
