Job Description

  • Champion Agile software development best practices, acting as a coach to the Scrum teams
  • Facilitate Scrum meetings and promote active participation from the team to ensure everyone is working towards the sprint goal
  • Support the Product Owners in refining and maintaining the product backlog
  • Take responsibility for managing dependencies between the Scrum team and others, collaborating within the Scrum Master network especially with regards to items necessary for product release
  • Proactively identify and help to remove any potential impediments to the delivery of the agreed sprint commitment

Qualifications

  • At least 1+ years of full-time experience as an Agile Coach / Scrum Master / Delivery Manager or Agile Project Manager in a software development environment
  • Strong and diplomatic interpersonal communication and moderation skills with the ability to ask powerful questions
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision. Persistent drive for continual improvement, both with team and self
  • Able to resolve conflicts, facilitate discussions, propose viable alternatives, and consider different approaches
  • Having working experience with more than one Lean / Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Extreme Programming, Kanban) would be a plus

You should bring the following:

  • Good understanding of software development cycle
  • CSM, PSM, or similar certification
  • Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • An empathetic, “how can we make it happen” mindset

We offer an employment contract with a benefits package.

Currently, we work from home, but there is the ability to come to the office any day. After the pandemic, we plan to work 1 day from the office and 4 days from home.
