Job Description:

Working at the discretion of a Sales Director, the Associate Account Executive’s primary focus will be to manage and sell new software, cloud conversions, educations and upsell opportunities into our mid-market customer account base.  In addition, it is expected that new opportunities will also be developed within the territories prospect account base via outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow up.  This is a full sales cycle, quota carrying position.

Job Duties (include but not limited to):

  • Lead Generation
  • Account Management of a C1 & C2 territory
  • Opportunity qualification and discovery at both Prospect and Customer Accounts
  • Sales Materials preparation
  • Updating account, lead and opportunity plans in CRM
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers and contacts in an assigned territory
  • Execution against the MicroStrategy prescribed sales methodology (MicroSelling)
  • Leading sales calls over the phone, online and in-person
  • Participation in quarterly territory calls with sales management

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of sales experience selling enterprise software, education, or services preferred
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding corporate objectives and quotas
  • Significant track record of quota over-achievement versus peers
  • Successful experience at new account development
  • Ability to present solutions across business unit, IT, and executive levels
  • Ability to lead negotiations and overcome objections for deal closure
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • High levels of social perceptiveness and customer service
  • Self-driven, motivated and results oriented
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable, resourceful, team player
