Job Description

Do you have impeccable customer service and are crazy about business intelligence? MicroStrategy is hiring a Technical Support Associate (TSA) in our Washington, DC area headquarters. TSAs are responsible for managing customer inbound calls and emails, triaging and solving their issues by using your technical knowledge and internal network. By doing so, you’ll support customers with their services and keep them abreast of the latest on MicroStrategy.

  • Provide technical and functional customer support via email and phone to solve issues and provide guidance on the MicroStrategy platform
  • Contribute to the administration, support, and operation of critical Technical Support systems
  • Build strong relationships and partnerships with team members across departments to resolve customer issues
  • Identify and communicate product defects to development teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in a business, technical, or related field
  • Ideally you have technical support or business intelligence experience 
  • You are uber motivated to achieve your goals and have a stellar track record of closing deals
  • Being strategic comes naturally you when solving business problems and tackling projects
  • You are quick on your feet and ready for change – being agile is one of our values
  • You actively listen to customers and have strong communication and presentation skills
  • You are customer focused because you have an unmatched ability to understand customer needs and build relationships
  • It’s a plus if you know Java, Visual Basic, HTML, XML/XSL, ASP, or have SQL or RDBMS knowledge
