Job Description

The Senior Vice President, Demand Generation & Teleprospecting has an impactful and highly visible role within the organization. This role is responsible for a variety of marketing initiatives including: developing and executing lead acquisition strategies and campaigns across multiple offline and online media channels, and accountability for the worldwide Teleprospecting function responsible for delivering marketing qualified leads for the sales force. This role is global in scope, data driven, with a deep understanding of marketing automation, predictive sales models, and creative solutions for solving complex business challenges. A passion for lead / funnel optimization is critical to this role.

Your Focus:

  • Oversee and drive all aspects of search marketing and display advertising, content ideas and creation, and social relationship building and conversations.
  • Work with Marketing and Sales leadership teams to implement worldwide strategy for penetrating new prospect accounts
  • Work with Marketing Operations to develop/improve measurement and reporting for teleprospecting and digital marketing activities
  • Act as the executive communication link between Teleprospecting team and the field, regularly interacting with all levels of senior management (esp. GMs and Sales Directors/Country Managers) to ensure coordination, cooperation, and effective handoffs between Teleprospecting and Sales.  Ensure overall alignment with Sales staff around common goals and objectives.
  • Review quality of leads generated by teleprospecting and ensure there is active and ongoing follow-up with Sales leadership and Account Executives
  • Generate ideas for website content from various sources, including customer, employees, partners, and influencers
  • Manage editorial calendar to organize content by type of audience, publication date, and distribution channel
  • Implement new content delivery methods and tools for video, motion graphics, infographics, blogs, podcasts, e-books, microsites, social media events, data visualization and more
  • Publish content in channel-specific formats for website, social media, e-newsletter and online communications
  • Ensure department meets business objectives for lead generation from conferences, symposiums, events, seminars, and trade shows
  • Evaluate progress and results of all event and symposia programs and ensure the highest levels of attendee satisfaction are achieved and that all business objectives are met
  • Work with Marketing team to identify the most successful marketing programs based on teleprospecting and sales results
  • Work with Marketing and Sales leadership to prioritize calling campaigns consistent with value to the business and to balance effectively among multiple business priorities
  • Work with the multiple constituents to develop new functionality within our sales force automation tool to improve business development effectiveness and efficiency

Qualifications

Job Requirements :

  • 17+ years’ experience with BS/BA Degree
  • At least 8+ years managing multi-layered organization
  • At least 5+ years teleprospecting/lead follow-up experience required
  • Sales & Marketing expertise in the software industry preferred
  • Excellent strategy development & creative problem-solving skills as well as teleprospecting focus and experience, while possessing a broad level of technology understanding and substantial operational & financial acumen
  • Superior skills in ability to understand business drivers and information usage within industries and reflect that understanding through written documents and presentations.
  • Experience working in matrix and complex organizations and an appreciation of how the dynamics of growth affect corporate culture and in-place processes and systems. This includes an understanding that resources typically trail the business in high-growth rapid change environments and require strategies and programs that are flexible, dynamic and agile.
