Job Description

Basic Function: The Senior Human Resources Specialist is responsible for onboarding new hires into the organization and for supporting the HR department in the areas of immigration, employee relations, career development, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) maintenance and other functional HR areas.  This individual will be team orientated and will have strong customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment.    

Job Duties (include but not limited to):
•    Manage end to end talent acquisition process from headcount requisition to offer management
•    Responsible for on boarding new employees hired into all levels of corporate and field based positions
•    Process new hire paperwork including new hire checklist, offer package and corporate benefits forms
•    Conduct new hire quarterly events including scheduling, set up and administering the new hire survey
•    Enter new hire data into the HRIS and maintain accurate records throughout employee lifecycle
•    Conduct new hire orientation ensuring as well as first 90-day onboarding program
•    Enroll new employees into corporate training and deliver training materials
•    Create new employee folders and maintain accurate folders through employee lifecycle. Maintain personnel records and complete general filing Coordinate HR programs such as performance review, merit increase, training events and benefits reviewRespond to employment verifications for current and previous employees according with HR policy
•    Write letters for visa holders traveling outside of the country using templates
•    Creating and maintaining HR Standard Operating Procedures Manual
•    Run reports from HRIS database including bi-monthly payroll reporting
•    Educate managers and employees in HR policies and processes
•    Assist with exit interviews and processing employee departures
•    Assists in maintaining compliance with local employment laws and conducting compliance audits
•    Design and coordinate with local office support for quarterly team activities
•    Perform related duties and special projects as assigned by the Management

Qualifications

Job Requirements:


•    Bachelor’s degree; Human Resources or Business degree preferred


•    5 + years of experience in Human Resources


•    Experience in HRIS system, especially Workday system is a plus


•    Experience in project management or process optimization projects is preferred


•    Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities


•    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail


•    Effective oral and written communication skills


•    Excellent interpersonal skills


Strong Microsoft Office skills- Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point
