Job Description:

The Role: As part of Corporate Procurement group in the Finance department, the Senior Procurement Analyst will support sourcing, purchase order processing, and operational activities for a variety of departments across the company. Candidate will drive strategic and tactical analyses related to the Procure to Pay function as well a cost savings initiatives across the company.

Job Duties (include but not limited to):

· Support the MicroStrategy effort to implement a centralized procurement model.

· Effective and efficient processing of purchasing & tactical buying transactions

· Interface with Sales, Marketing, Finance and other departments to understand business requirements and challenges; including priorities, must win battles and key value drivers.

· Lead or support the development, coordination, processing, and analysis of RFPs; screen and qualify vendors, lead or support (as needed) the development of proposals through its various phases.

· Work closely with internal business partners to ensure that services provided meet or exceed expectations; track transactional performance (quality, timeliness etc.) and collect from stakeholders

· Support negotiations with suppliers regarding pricing, deliveries, specifications and returns to achieve strategic and tactical value. Addresses all conflicts and or questions raised by either the requestor or the supplier.

· Assist with the management of third party contractual relationships including vendor and service provider agreement requirements.

· Support the analysis of spend as well as department reporting (e.g., process and supplier performance, analytics, periodic and adhoc reporting)

· Introduce innovation across the Procure to Pay end-to-end process to reduce cycle times and costs; leverage tools to drive automation and create a leaner organization

· Works closely with the Accounts Payable department to resolve invoice to purchase order discrepancies and to ascertain compliance with all conditions of purchase prior to payment.

· Continuous improvement of processes, controls and systems

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree required

· Candidate must possess 4+ years’ purchasing operations, buying center or similar experience

· Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills

· Strong negotiation and supplier/vendor relationship management skills

· Ability to work with a wide range of individuals from CXOs to support staff.

· Uncompromising business ethics

· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, work independently and manage tasks to timely completion

· Strong procure to pay, contracting, process transformation experience

· Detail and process oriented with a bias towards information qualit

· Special Knowledge. First hand working knowledge of PO Processing, contract management technology, and processes is required.
