Job Description

Route sales rep: Closing New Business, and Servicing & Upselling Existing Customers. If you enjoy outside sales and account management to industrial facilities, this opportunity is for you. Go to work each day with steel toe boots working with people who appreciate your service!

Compensation

  • $75,000 Salary + 25% residual commission

Job Description

Daily tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Average 7 sales/service calls per day moving through a proven sales and account management process
  • Delivering product to customers
  • Training demonstrations with sanitation/janitorial staff on how to properly use chemicals
  • Able to learn how to rebuild pressure washers, car wash type arch systems and chemical dispensers
  • Order processing
  • 60% of time spent growing new business, 40% of time spent managing current accounts
  • Work out of home office – four route days and one office day per week

Territory Coverage

  • Southwest Missouri – West of Highway 5 including Lebanon, north to Highway 54, South to Arkansas Border
  • Southeast Kansas
  • Northeast Oklahoma

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years previous B2B outside sales experience
  • Hunter mentality to drive new business development
  • Stable work history with the ability to show documented success in a sales role
  • Competitive people that like to achieve success each day
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy
  • People skills
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Minor Electrical & Plumbing
  • Blue collar/White collar – Boots and blue jeans while dealing with executives
  • A “do what it takes” attitude for top success
  • Eagerness to learn and follow the proven Meyer Sales System
  • Intermediate mathematical aptitude
