As the Graphic Design Intern you will be an integral part of our design team. You will have the opportunity to work on complex projects spanning our company's broad range of clients while working with all teams within our office. You will primarily be responsible for creating design solutions for various pieces of marketing solutions including E-Books, infographics, banner ads as well as pitch decks and reports.

You will work closely with our Senior Designers, Creative Director and our strategic consulting teams to ensure all work delivered meets the requirements of the project, and meets the quality bar Metia is known for by our clients. The person filling this role should have strong visual design skills.

This is a paid internship.

Key Functions & Deliverables

• With supervision and guidance, the Graphic Design Intern will gain hands-on experience in the following areas:
• Marketing campaigns including banner ads, e-books an infographics
• Producing corporate and event collateral designs (signage, posters, flyers, brochures, etc.) within style/brand specifications
• Creating images and content for websites, blog posts, and social media
• Formatting client-facing presentations
• Working within project budgets and brief
• Managing and tracking billable time

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated in an accredited Graphic Design, Art, or related college program

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud - specifically Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign

• Proficient in Microsoft O365 (Word, PowerPoint)

• Proficient on Windows platform

• HTML5/CSS3 experience is a plus

• Motion design is a plus

• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with teammates

• Motivated self-starter who likes working on very productive, fast-paced teams

• Well organized and responsible, the ability to self-manage tasks and schedules when needed

• A can do attitude
