Job Description

Join our team as a Key Account Sales representative and become an integral part of our mission to deliver top-notch agricultural products and services to growers in the area. As the face of the company, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers while leveraging your agronomic expertise to drive sales and support business growth.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of customers' businesses and devise strategies to support their growth.
  • Foster relationships with team members to deliver value-added services and position the company as the preferred retailer.
  • Innovate solutions that enhance customer offerings and align with company objectives.
  • Execute the company's sales strategy and collaborate with locations to ensure timely product delivery.
  • Generate sales according to specified targets and actively listen to customers to address their needs.
  • Identify key influencers and decision-makers within customer relationships and deepen engagement.
  • Utilize sales technology to track progress, update goals, and forecast key metrics.
  • Assist in developing and executing the company's marketing strategy.
  • Manage customer complaints and conflicts effectively while providing exceptional service.
  • Collaborate with fellow employees to meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
  • Contribute as a strong team member to drive sales growth within the assigned area.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year plus commission

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Ag Business, or a related field.
  • One to two years of sales experience required, preferably in the agricultural industry.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand and address customer needs effectively.
  • Proficiency in sales technology and software applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
