If you have 3+ years of web development experience, are a great communicator, and hold major project experience, this role may just be for you.

Your initial challenge for the next several months will be to implement new features into the micro-services and to improve and fix current features in our game engine.

You will also be reporting twice a week on project progress creating new milestones and assessing tasks and respective timelines. Communication will be of critical importance as you will be providing regular updates and working closely with other departments.

MetaVRse is a universal, code-optional 3D creation platform (game engine). Over the past 6 years, we have developed one of the only end-to-end solutions for curating, developing, and distributing 3D experiences on the Web.  We believe by making our solution web-based we can turn what is normally a very complicated task of developing 3D experiences into a reality.

Our end-to-end web solution is separated into micro-services deployed in a Kubernetes environment.

Experienced Full Stack Web Developer

Full-time Employment

This role will include creating javascript snippets and plugins for our studio using our Javascript Game Engine. You will be reporting twice a week on project progress creating new milestones and assessing tasks and respective timelines. Communication will be of critical importance as you will be providing regular updates and working closely with other departments. In order to fulfill the tasks at hand, you'll need to be experienced with the following stack: Node.JS ReactJS PostgreSQL GIT

To get to know you better, it would be great if your resume can demonstrate any of the following experience. High volume usage (basic user statistics, monthly users, bandwidth used)

Lots of moving parts (touch points in the software)

Server-side development (NodeJS)

Front-end development (ReactJS)

User Access Control (User Management)

Processing digital transactions (Stripe, PayPal)

Socket.io (Real-time communication)

State Management (Any example of undo/redo in an editing environment)

Highly custom Javascript examples 3D development experience is a major asset (ThreeJS, Unity, etc.)
