Scanning & Indexing Clerk
Lawrenceville, GA (Onsite)
12+Month Contract
Qualifications
Responsible for preparing, scanning, inspecting, compiling, assembling, and binding documents while maintaining customer satisfaction, quality, accuracy, productivity, and PS+ standards.
Responsibilities
- Review project instructions and understand job-specific preparation requirements before beginning each project.
- Prepare documents for scanning by removing staples, paper clips, binder clips, and other metal fasteners.
- Repair damaged documents with tape as needed to prevent further damage during scanning.
- Insert document separator sheets or break sheets according to project-specific instructions.
- Organize documents in the correct sequence for scanning, indexing, and processing.
- Operate KODAK scanning equipment and inspect scanned documents for accuracy and quality.
- Create makeready copies for documents that cannot be fed through the scanner, including redwelds, oversized documents, fragile materials, and other special-handling items.
- Maintain optimal machine performance by clearing jams, refilling toner, replacing machine oil, and reporting equipment failures using appropriate machine codes.
- Maintain minimum PS+ standards and achieve established Time Productive and Impressions per Hour (IPH) standards.
- Meet production standards and productivity goals for each preparation level while demonstrating continuous improvement.
- Complete paperwork accurately, legibly, and on time.
- Identify and promptly communicate document issues, discrepancies, equipment problems, or other concerns to management or the appropriate team lead.
- Maintain an organized workstation to prevent preparation and assembly errors.
- Handle confidential and sensitive documents carefully while maintaining document integrity.
- Perform error-free work according to customer specifications and project requirements.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain quality, accuracy, and productivity standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic PC and typing skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and maintain positive, productive relationships with co-workers, management, sales, and production departments.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and remain flexible.
- Ability to perform repetitive work by continuously completing different tasks according to established procedures, sequences, and production pace.
- Ability to work multiple shifts, including nights, weekends, overtime, and holidays, based on work volume and customer needs.
- Ability to work in a production facility with moderate to high noise levels.
- Ability to manage and adapt to moderate stress for extended periods.
- Ability to stand and remain on feet for at least 8 hours per day.
- Ability to lift and move supplies weighing up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist height, carry them approximately 10 feet, and lower them back to the floor.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to drive a stand-up forklift; certification or recertification may be required.
