Job Description
Mailroom Clerk
Monday-Friday – 7:30am to 4:30pm
Danville, Indiana (onsite)
3+ months contract (Temp to Perm)
Qualifications
This role supports document services, mail operations, equipment handling, and general office and facility functions in a high-volume environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate high-volume copiers, printers, imaging systems, and related software
- Perform copying, binding, finishing, QC checks, and final document preparation
- Handle incoming/outgoing mail, faxes, shipping, receiving, sorting, and postage
- Use MS Office, email, and document management systems to open, process, store, and transfer files
- Maintain and troubleshoot office equipment, clear jams, and coordinate service calls
- Track supplies, maintain logs, generate reports, and assist with billing records
- Deliver completed work within and between buildings as required
- Respond to customer queries on job status and feasibility
- Maintain clean, stocked copier and work areas
- Perform filing, archiving, and document purging tasks
- Support meeting/conference room setup and building moves
- Perform light maintenance (e.g., re-lamping) and occasional cleaning
- Use bindery and finishing equipment (paper cutter, stapler, shrink-wrap, etc.)
- Travel between buildings and support various on-site service functions
