Legal Office Services Associate
Philadelphia, PA (Onsite)
5 Months Contract
Monday-Friday 830am - 530pm
Qualifications
The role supports high-volume copy, print, mail, scanning, and general operations within a legal office environment.
Responsibilities
Requirements
Operate high-volume copiers, scanners, fax machines, mail processing equipment, and image-handling software
Perform copying, printing, binding, finishing, scanning, OCR, file conversion, file naming, file formatting, and FTP transfers
Handle highly confidential and time-sensitive legal documents with strict accuracy and quality
Maintain convenience copiers; clear jams; perform basic maintenance; report technical issues
Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintain meter readings, service logs, supply inventories, and billing logs
Sort, distribute, ship, and receive mail, faxes, packages, and office supplies; apply postage
Use bindery equipment including joggers, tape machines, stackers, staplers, and scales
Perform filing, purging, archiving, housekeeping, and other entry-level tasks as needed
Deliver completed jobs inside and outside the site; travel between buildings when required
Provide customer support to legal secretaries, paralegals, project managers, associates, and partners
Coordinate off-site project work when needed
Lift up to 50 lbs and walk/stand for extended periods
Answer questions regarding job status and feasibility; ensure copier areas are neat and stocked
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
Copy/print experience required; legal industry experience (1+ year) strongly preferred
Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in MS Office, email systems, and basic computer use
Technical aptitude with printers, copiers, scanners, postage meters, fax machines, and related office equipment
Ability to support cost recovery, document management, and workflow software
Understanding of shipping/receiving procedures and packing verification
Basic electronics knowledge preferred
Strong organization, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and understand written technical instructions and manuals
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing tasks
Additional Information
Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
