Event and Hospitality Coordinator

Mon-Fri, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
 

Qualifications

This is a hospitality driven role that takes place in a legal environment. This role will consist of booking events/meetings, performing face-to-face interaction with clients/guests/vendors, managing inventory reports/volume reports/quarter tracking, managing email traffic, and physically setting up rooms for meetings and events. Setting up the rooms for meetings and events will include physical labor to move furniture and arrange heavy linens. The manager is looking for someone with a solid background in catering/banquet services/restaurant industry. There is almost zero food handling, but they will be setting up/taking down events. Physical ability to move furniture, heavy linens, and be on your feet most of the day is required. Experience with supervising event set up is also helpful. The candidates should have a solid business acumen particularly in managed service or food service. Candidates should also have computer skills and be comfortable using Microsoft Outlook. Flexibility with schedule is required for this role as events will sometimes require showing up early or staying late to help with set up/take down.
